God, let me know Your love’s majestic power through inward experience that transcends the natural. Search the landscape of my heart and scatter seeds of hope from Your holy book. Grant Your beloved the greatest gift of belief, Lord. Root out any competition in my heart until Your affections and favor are all that I seek. Jesus, I want to taste and see Your goodness. I desire to absorb the effervescent light of Your truth until it interjects itself into everything that I do. Father, protect me from the shadows of deception that lurk around the good You have placed in my life. Protect me from the slinging arrows of condemnation that easily penetrate the weak spots in my armor. Where I am weak, Lord Jesus, You are strong. Truly, I can take refuge in Your scars. Hide Your servant in the shadow of Your wings when the battle results in weariness that I fear I cannot overcome. Rejoicing in the indwelling power of Your Spirit reminds me that all things can be done through Christ who strengthens me. Truly, Lord, Your majestic love grants power to overcome all travesty by the light of hope that shines into eternity. Under the Word given in Psalm 34:8 and the authority of Christ I pray.
