My Lord, I am dazzled by Your unspeakable mercies. The tangled mess within my soul is graciously unraveled by Your skilled and loving hands. Though my rebellious soul turns away from the convicting question: ‘Will You follow Me?;’ my longing heart answers with the resounding conviction of truth: ‘To whom would I go, Lord, for Your Words are life?’ I cling to Your outstretched hand with the angels of heaven as my witness, Lord. Let there be nothing that separates me from You, no height of adversity nor depth of despair; no futile desires or physical impairments. No, not even death itself can create a chasm between You and those who have responded to Your voice of love. Move me in response to such divine blessing. Grow Your servant in this new life desirous for Your glory. Sanctify me in holy contemplation as I joyously embrace the kindness of Your divine companionship. Let my unworthy soul feel its worth in Your presence alone, my God and King. Under the Word given in John 6:67-69 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.
So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that You are the Holy One of God.”
John 6:67-69, ESV
