Truly, Lord, my heart bows before Your throne. I am a sojourner here on earth. The longing desire to arise and come away with You lingers so near the edge of my spiritual consciousness that my thoughts delight to dwell on the majesty of the eternal. But for each breath granted me this side of the veil there is purpose. Lord God, make me desire to live unto You. You have redefined me as a Kingdom worker, Lord Jesus. Enable me to finish the tasks divinely appointed to my walk. Though at times I feel as if I am unsuccessfully navigating the maze of life, I need only look up to see Your light guiding me. You, my Supreme Gardener, have put precious seeds of truth on my lips. Help me to sow them in the Spirit of life. You, my Ultimate Master, have enveloped me in divine love. Help me to share such warmth with others. You, my Holy Carpenter, have given me tools of compassion, discipline and accountability in order to sharpen my siblings of the faith. Embolden my voice, Lord, that I might herald the Good News. Grant me strength to break up the fallow ground. Make me into salt so that the smallest portion of the world which I touch is flavored by the Word. Make me Your vessel, Lord God, that I might live my days glorifying Christ. Under the mighty Word given in Matthew 5:13 and the authority of Jesus, my Savior, I bow in humble prayer.
