My Redeemer lives! My Redeemer lives! Let me live in the hallelujahs because He lives. God, make my life an acknowledgment of the sweetness of Your salvation. For You have covered over my ugliness with Your stainless garment of righteousness. You have bedazzled my sullied character with the jewels and sparkles of Your holy virtues. Even the trajectory of my rebellion that pointed only to death has been turned onto another path by Your mighty hands – the path of eternal life. Your gracious Word is my infallible treasure. Your blessed love displayed on the cross reveals to me the efficacy of a life devoted to You. Jesus, help me move those mountains. Help me submit to obedience. For You are my King, my High Priest, my Comfort and Strength. Bring me into the temple of Your heart’s purity until I can live a holy life. God, You are my defense against a world of confusion. Keep me forever in the power of Your Holy Spirit. Under the mighty Word of defense in Job 19:25 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.
