No matter how evil the days Lord, may Your servant never turn aside from Your way. Grant me the sincerity of a devoted heart. Empower me with the constancy of Your Spirit. Steady me upon the firmness of Your rock, in truth. I know the tendency within me is to be lenient on myself and harsh in my judgment of others. Yet, beneath Your holy gaze the flaws that remain within my blind spot are revealed. Reshape me, Lord, until I am more spiritually fit than I am now. There is a great abiding eagerness in my soul to remain steadfastly walking along the eternal path. Only my great Shepherd can keep me from the demonic clutches of those that crawl out of hidden pits along the way. May I never grow so confident in holiness that I forsake Your mighty staff’s guidance, Jesus, in order to forge my own path. May all indulgent thoughts vanish forever so I can live secure in the power of my risen Lord. Under the Word of mighty truth in John 10:28 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer before the altar of the Lord.
