Heavenly Father, captivate my thoughts with Your goodness. Incline my heart to follow Your Son’s footsteps. Make my soul sense the spiritual urgency with which You pursue those You love. Move past the restriction of my human heart’s boundaries and expand my capacity for divine filling. May faith burn like a holy fire in my breast until all within me that is unworthy of Kingdom purpose is burned up. Let me not find contentment in ease and comfort but in pursuit of holiness no matter how treacherous the terrain or how many cultural obstacles stand in my way. God, stir the contents of my soul with desire for You that can only be satisfied in Your presence. Lift my heavy heart with the lightness of Your love now and forevermore. Under the Word of truth in Matthew 22:36-37 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
