The Lord is faithful and true, strong and mighty. May the gaze I set upon You be forever reverent and full of awe, God. As inadequate as such a gift is for a King, I gladly delight to give You my worship. Lead me to a deeper understanding of who You are, Jesus. Take me beneath the canopy of Your heart where my thoughts are purified and my meditations are only on truth. Lord, I desire to dwell on all that is good in the midst of the bad. I desire to think noble thoughts that lift up my soul rather than superficial thoughts that bind me to the earth. Though my heart is prone to wander, Lord Jesus, tether me to You in the power of grace. Help me experience the joy of discovering more of You, God. You give far more than my ability to obtain. You withhold the wrath which I ultimately deserve. Your faithful heart is my motivation. Help me live a life of holy praise drenched in Your divine love. Under the Word of truth in Psalm 33:4-5 and the authority of Christ I bow in humble prayer.

For the Word of the Lord is right and true;
