To the fountain of life I come to drink of Your holiness. Jesus, let Your living water wash over my soul, seeping into every dry and cracked crevice until I absorb Your Spirit like a sponge. God, each morning my heart delights to soak up Your presence. Each evening my heart finds solace by resting in You. Let the abundant streams of truth flow straight from Your Word into this world through those sealed in Your Name. Turn vessels into pitchers ready and willing to be poured out over all those dry, desert souls. Jesus, Your teaching brings revival and Your pleasure truly satisfies my heart. Cultivate the fruit of the Spirit within Your servant. There is a garden waiting within my soul, a garden filled with flowers ready to bloom with the fragrance of Christ. God, remove the weeds of selfishness, pride, anger, bitterness and envy. Let me grow in kindness, grace, humility and love. You have planted me, Lord. You have watered. Now make Your servant grow to the glory of Your Name. Under the blessed Word of God in 1 Corinthians 3:7 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
