Love not expressed is like a seed planted in the dark ground and neglected. Without water or sunlight it fails to grow; it never blossoms; it does not produce fruit. The seed that was full of enormous potential never becomes what it was intended to be. Rather, the barren ground leads one to question whether it existed at all.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34-35, ESV
