Today’s Prayer

God of all comfort and provider of renewed vigor, I come to You in my dire need. Father, multiply my hallelujahs until the fires of faith burn bright in my soul again. Multiply my praise until all of who I am is a reflection of the depth of who You are. Though I bring You so little, You are able to take it and make it into something worthy of Your Kingdom. I place upon the altar a meager offering, Lord. But like the widow with her last coin to survive on, my offering is all that I am. By Your grace alone, I trust my survival. By Your mercy, I trust my existence. God, multiply my holy breaths to add stamina to my dying soul. Multiply my midnight endearments until the shards of light pierce the darkness. Father, I want to see again. Only You can restore my sight. With eyes of faith, the divine path is clear before me. Even when the way is treacherous, I need not fear because You are with me. So multiply my awareness of Your presence, Lord. Transport me to the realm of heavenly perspective which removes the self-pitying lens through which I cannot see clearly. For even though my trials feel multiplied, Your ability to use it all for good is multiplied even more. Thank You Jesus for the infinite love You have shown through the cross. May that love be multiplied throughout the world in the lives of Your believers. Under the mighty Word of truth in Luke 21:1-4 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and He saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. And He said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
