Life’s sorrows and troubles are many, but my Savior carries me through every storm. How vast and wide and deep is Your loving kindness, Jesus. You are the One to guide me over the mountain and through the valley. Let me forever walk in the footprints of love divine. Bring sweet mercy to shield Your beloved from my tendency toward waywardness. My heart is prone to wander Lord, even though I know You are where true love lives. My wounds are healed by a single touch of Your Word. My soul is refashioned by the breath of the Holy Spirit. Your goodness is abundant, Lord. Your grace is altogether sufficient. Let Your abiding love turn my unworthiness into something of Kingdom worth. Strengthen my fainting heart, Jesus, so that I might become a better reflector of all Your goodness. I humbly lift up my prayers of gratitude for all You have done and are doing in and around my life. Grant me eyes to see and ears to hear the prompting of Your Spirit. Your tender voice is not a shout over the myriad distractions of life. Your voice whispers into the stillness of the heart. Remind me to slow down and listen, Lord. I want to take all of You in. My desire is to abide in Your love in all ways. Under the Word given in John 15:4 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
