My Lord, the deepest yearning of my heart is to know You. Jesus, my Savior, You have captivated the fullness of my desire. I long to be as one taught by God. Only You can enlighten me through the indwelling presence of Your Holy Spirit. Lead me into the glory of all truth. Remove all ignorance from the lens of my heart, Jesus. May there be no interposing object such as pride blinding me to the beauty of Your love within the kaleidoscope of holy majesty. I want to see You, Father, so that I might increase in my knowing You. You are the perfecter of my hope, the finisher of my faith. Infuse me with the holiness of Your Word as I anticipate with joyous delight our prayerful rendezvous within the heavenly text. You are all goodness and grace, Lord. Grow me in love as You reveal Yourself to me in a myriad of ways. Still my distracted heart so that I might know You are my God. Under the Word of truth in Psalm 46:10 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer at Your feet.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”
