Lord, Your boundless love surrounds me with peace. Your joyous presence eclipses my sorrows. Let me come to You with an open heart not cloaked in fear of punishment though righty deserved; but with adoration anchored beyond the veil to the seat of mercy. How beautiful are the mighty words You have given us to live by. How enormous is the revelation of Your heart. Though my rebellion has scarred You, You come to heal my own wounds. Though my self-righteous choices led me down a path You never intended me to be on, You came to show me the way. The depth of Your grace pulled my soul out of the miry pit. The width of Your mercy lessened the consequences I deserved. The breadth of Your love gave me new life. The height of Your glory became the light which led me out of darkness. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for never giving up on me. Thank You for the intensity of Your loving pursuit. May all the saints faithfully uphold the Name of Jesus as life is lived in the days of evil. Victory is Yours. Let us cling to that anchor which reaches beyond the veil from the very throne of eternal grace. Under the mighty Word in Hebrews 6:19-20 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in grateful prayer.

We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
