My heart is enraptured by Your majesty, Lord. My soul is ravished by Your perfect grace. By Your Spirit’s power I am enabled to believe with unstaggering faith the promise of my home with You. Jesus, You who will present my hopeless soul before the throne, have given me the hope of Your portion. That my home is destined to grant me rest ushers peace where worry had lodged itself. Shall I then cease my constant vigilance in looking out for the untiring, scheming enemy of my soul? Shall I then have relief from the plague of circumstances that vex my heart? Shall I at last be free of all self-awareness that leads toward sin? In this place of undefined inheritance and the serenity of holiness, the weary find rest in Christ Jesus. How grateful I am for this union with You, O Lamb of God. I continually commit my soul to Your keeping, Jesus. I perpetually place my heart on the altar for Your use, Lord. Sustain Your servant with the security of Your glory and the radiance of Your promise. Make my home with You, Jesus. Come and take my soul to be where You are. My confidence is in You whom I serve while I wait for the work assigned me to be complete. Under the mighty truth of Your Word in John 14:1-3 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be.
