Nourish Your servant through daily immersion in Your presence, God. Cultivate the holiness of incorruptible love so that I can live to bring glory to Your Name by making a difference to my neighbor. Let the power of Your Word sanctify me in truth until the defilement of deceit is rooted out of my heart. There is a loneliness as of late that pricks at the covering of peace You have given me in Christ. My faulty perception of distance from You has allowed the frigid love of the world to cool my passionate faith. But my covering in You, Lord, is not ripped. It is perfectly woven by prayer, by Your Word and in Your promises. Let me pull it tighter around myself in the days ahead. The warmth of Your love and the fires of Your Spirit create growth within me. Despite my languishing tendency, You pursue me with life. Despite my weary desire to give up, You inspire me with zeal. There is nothing I need outside of You, Lord Jesus. Because my Savior covers me, I no longer fear the destructive elements of worldly existence. Under the mighty Word of God in Ephesians 6:24 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
