Favor Your servant with an abiding awareness of Your precious love, Lord Jesus. Chase away the pursuing clouds of grief and despondency with the holy breath of Your Spirit. Teach me this day what it is to delight in You. May the mundane notes of frustration with the world be hushed by the sovereign melody of eternal love. Your Holy Spirit is my effectual comforter, the One who captivates my heart, inviting me to adore and worship the King with the fullness of faith. My Savior, You are the crown of my heart’s delight. Though this world quakes with trouble, You have overcome the world. Make Your Word prominent in my soul so that it effortlessly falls from my lips. Teach me Your promises so that I may cling to them on the darkest of days. Let me not forget to respond to Your daily invitation to rest in prayer with You at our appointed secret rendezvous. The sacred importance of Your presence is as foundational as the beating of my heart, Lord. May I not neglect it. You are my restoration and renewal. Through my life may Your living water flow until it splashes on those who need its replenishing power. My God and my King, favor Your beloved with an awareness of Your glory. Under the Word given in Exodus 33:18-19 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
