Lord God Almighty, let me plead my desperate case before Your throne. Let me fall on my face before Your mercy and let me rely completely on Your grace. For those who are called by Your Name do not lack any good thing. Your divine fingertips swirl even the most tragic circumstances of life into something good, something holy, something useful. May nothing I do ever compromise the integrity of my love for You, Jesus. When You call me to undertake a task far beyond my abilities, may I lean into Your strength. That which is absurdly difficult and so humanly impossible that it begs insecurity to prophesy failure is merely a chance for me to glorify You. Let my faith rise to such occasions, Lord. When I am caught in the torrential deluge of financial constraints that squeeze life out of hope, only You can avert the terrible waters, allowing Your beloved to come up for air until the pressure is released. And when my sorrows attempt to redefine me, robbing me of joy and delight in my Savior, draw me intimately into the depths of prayer where identity is restored and truth becomes the solid rock that holds my soul steady, tethering me to the promises of Your Word. In all things, my trust lives in You, Jesus. So I leave my desperate case upon the throne, knowing that You are not only able but willing. Under the Word set down in Ephesians 3:20-21 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in adoring prayer.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
