What do I do when the flaming arrows of unworthiness assault my soul? I run to the Word who became flesh and dwelled among us. What do I do when the way before me is unclear and the waters of circumstance grow murky from indecision? I search for truth in the pages of the Living Word of God. What do I do when chaos wracks my soul? I rest in the One who died for me so that I might live in His peace. Jesus, I thank You for the worth Your love has imparted to me. Marked with the precious Holy Spirit, I delight to be called Your child. Jesus, I thank You for clarifying the way by showing me, in prayerful counsel, the next step of the journey. Jesus, I thank You for granting me peace that surpasses anything this world has to offer. Truly, You have given me abundant life. Help me to live for You and not for myself. No matter what questions I have, there is always an answer in You. No matter what tests my faith must endure, there is always strength in You. No matter how lost I become, Your love always finds me and puts me back on the path. You, my God, are a giver who never depletes the gifts by giving them away. I give thanks, Lord. My heart flows abundant with awestruck gratitude. Under the mighty Word of God in James 1:17 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
