Lord, I am a sojourner on my way to heaven. I am one who is delighted to have been found by the only guide that truly knows the way. How grateful is the soul who has been found by Jesus. My blessed Savior, let me never be content unless I daily abide in the holy intercourse of prayer. Let me find no satisfaction unless I am abiding in You. Your presence is hallowed. Your glory is the only purpose to existence. I seek Your presence continually. I bask in the wisdom of Your Word. Walk with me, Lord Jesus, forevermore. The road before me is difficult in places. Carry me across the ravines of affliction, Lord. Or lead me through the valley of sorrow. Only You can determine the proper course for my soul. When the fiery furnace stands open before me, help me not to be afraid because You are with me in the flames. When the battle against my self opens up a multitude of weaknesses and reveals my inner corruptions, only You, my Captain, can show me how to fight. Without You, I am helpless to wield the sword of the Spirit. Jesus, I lean into You when blessings abound and when death prowls around me. I cling to You through the sunny days and in the storm. Refresh me with the promises of truth. Mold me in love. Remake me in Your image. Now and always let me fully abide in You. Under the truth of the Word in John 15:4 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
