Take all of my heart, Lord God, into Your prosperous hands. I gladly give You the key to the innermost chambers where I fear to tread. There is much I have kept behind the locked doors of my heart, Jesus. Only if I am by Your side, do I dare enter that space. My Lord, tear down the plaster of pride with which such chambers were constructed. Carefully remove the wallpaper of lies that I put up for decoration because it was convenient. Secure the rotting woodwork of insecurity and sin so that the love I have found in You does not collapse in on itself. My Master Carpenter, I invite You to rebuild my heart from the inside out. Starting with the darkest chambers, I delight to let You illuminate the space until all the shadows of hurt flee. Using the plaster of submission, Lord Jesus, put up new structures within my heart. Decorate with the wallpaper of truth no matter how slow and meticulous the work. Rid me of the corruptible woodwork and replace it with the incorruptible framework of Your perfect love. In security and with purity let my heart be rebuilt by Your hands. Thank You, Jesus for daring to lead me where I am in most need of healing. Under the Word You have given in Matthew 7:24-25 and the authority of Christ I bow in humble prayer.
“Everyone therefore who hears these words of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock.”
Matthew 7:24-25, WEB
AMEN
