Let me look above the clouds of this earthly life to the glorious rise of eternity’s dazzling hues. My heart longs to see the King in His beauty. My soul deeply desires to dwell in the land of perpetual bliss where I can worship the One I adore. May this world’s brightness fade into darkness as You beckon me home into the Kingdom where light never dims and glory never fades. Let me spend my days in sweet contemplation of Your holiness. Let me spend my nights beneath the canopy of divine love. The glimmer of hope in Your Word is my glorious beholding of Your splendor in these last days of mine. Grant me Christ sight that I might become a witness of Your majesty. I cannot wish for more than all of You, Jesus. Fill my thirsty heart with Your presence even now. I await the call to heaven even as I behold You in the intimacy of prayer. Under the blessed Word of Job 19:26-27 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray with a full heart.
And after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;
I myself will see Him
with my own eyes—I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!
Job 19:26-27, NIV
