Lord, only You can thrill the depths of my heart with Your Holy Word. Let me bask in the richness of truth as the sun rises on a new day. Only within the boundaries of Your wisdom can my way be found blameless, Lord. Only by the indwelling power of Your Spirit can I keep Your testimonies which draw me nearer to Your heart. Father, keep me from wrong-doing. Make my walk steady upon the narrow path that leads to victory. Guard me from the distractions that challenge the diligence in keeping what You have commanded. As Your beloved, I delight to praise You from an upright heart in Christ – a heart that is always willing to learn what You teach. The sweetest sleep befalls me when I meditate on Your Word at night because I can rest knowing that You have not forsaken me. Under the mighty Word of God in Psalm 119:7-8 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

I will praise You with an upright heart,
    when I learn Your righteous rules.
